COC Garmisch-Partenkirchen & New Photos Velenje

Last weekend the next Continental Cup competition was hold in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Once more the temperature was at a limiting point with nearly 35°C. But nevertheless the polish team showed no weakness with a double victory of Kamil Stoch in both competitons. But also the czeach team with Jan Matura on Friday and Borek Sedlak on Sunday was represented at the flower ceremony. Following is the full result of both competitions, once again without any participation of the norwegian team, which will only attend the COC competitions in Lillehammer, Oslo and Wisla in September.

Summer 2010 - COC Kranj & Velenje

Borek Sedlak Just on time the summer began here in Europe at the same time with the ContinentalCup Summer season. The start of the COC this year was like in the last years in Slovenija. First halt was in Kranj on friday and saturday, where the polish ski team went strong in the first competition and had a battle with austria on the podium. On saturday was the second competition, where some of the slovenian guys could use their home field advantage.

At more than 30°C the teams went at the afternoon to Velenje, where on Sunday the third competition of the weekend was hold. There once more the polish team showed its strength with a double victory in front of two austrian athlets.

Next weekend it is going to Garmisch-Partenkirchen with two competitions on Friday and Saturday!

Today was the second competition of the Nordic Tournament in Kuopio and once more Simon Amman won befor Adam Malysz, but congratulations to Anders Jacobsen on the third place, who showed no fear of the wind and made an excellent second jump!

Congratulations to the team of Norway, which showed no fear of the strong wind on Saturday and won the team competition in only one round! On Sunday once more Simon Amman and Adam Malysz showed that they totally deserved their olympic medals!
