Results WC Sapporo & COC Bischofshofen PDF Print E-mail

Windy competitions in Sapporo and totally different weather during the Continental Cup in Bischofshofen with great sunny weather on Sunday this weekend was the first snow free weekend during the competitions! But the norwegian team made a great impression in the far Japan with Bardals second place in the first competition in Sapporo and third place of Vegard Swensen in the COC in Bischofshofen. Also on the second day in Bischofshofen one norwegian guy was at the price giving ceremony with Robert Johanssons fourth place and also in Japan Vegard Haukø Sklett made a fantastic fifth place! Also congrats to Roman Koudelka who made a fifth and fourth place in Sapporo! Following is the full result:

Just like the winter season has its problems with the extrem weather conditions I had some problems to keep up the side, but from now on it will be back up to date! Therefore new photos of the WC Engelberg at the end of December are now online! - - - > to the photos

WC Engelberg 2011 - Saturday

 Until now the Norwegian guys are having a really good season with Anders Bardal as their top athlet, unfortunately Tom Hilde had a crash in Oberstdorf at the four Hills Tournament, but will be back on the hills at least at the end of the season! Anders Jacobsen also said, that he will come back for the norwegian championships in the beginning of february and when he can keep up with the A-Team he wants to come back to the World Cup! In the meantime lots of young guys in the Continental Cup show up and knock at the World Cup door, like the double victory of Andreas Stjernen last weekend in Sapporo shows!
The czech team is also represented in the top 10 with Roman Koudelka, who has a really great season. Also Lukas Hlava who just came back this weekend in Zakopane after a crash in Bischofshofen three weeks ago is in a really good shape and hopefully the rest of the team will keep up with those two guys this season. The russian team is having Denis Kornilov as its best athlet right now closely followed by Anton Kalinitschenko, who came back after a pause of 10years from skijumping and he has the talent to be the best russian in the future!
